Our NEW Animal Rescue Center

After launching our Capital Campaign to rebuild in 2018, we proudly opened the doors to our new 27,000-square-foot Animal Rescue Center in August of 2021! We are beyond grateful to our generous supporters who made this dream a reality.

The SPCA’s modern, new home can accommodate more animals than ever before, allowing us to expand our rescue programs and services, making a huge impact on Westchester County animals and beyond!

Catteries & Condos

Our catteries are a sight to behold thanks to our friends at Broadway Barks and a generous Tony-Nominated Broadway set designer who helped us to create these magical spaces for our adoptable cats. From the Old English Library, complete with a faux fireplace, and the Into the Woods Room, outfitted with a beautiful sprawling tree for the cats to perch on and climb, to the brightly colored Graffiti Skate Park and Present Rooms, these creative, enriching habitats are a break-through in animal sheltering. And for our kitties who prefer a more private space, they now have individual 4-story condos.

Dog of the Day Room, Music Room & Canine Habitats

Our Dog of the Day Room, which replicates a home-like setting for our rescue pups, will help thousands of dogs as we prepare them for their new forever homes. The cozy lounge chair and tv dog bed are a perfect spot for them to curl up in. Or you can visit the Music Room, a calming space for volunteers and senior dogs to relax in for music therapy. This whimsical room even includes a piano! Our new building has 77 indoor dog kennels, 33 outdoor day pens and 4 fenced in play yards for our rescue pups.

Cody’s Clinic

The SPCA’s low-cost Cody’s Clinic is significantly larger and includes new, modernized equipment and an additional examination room and surgical suite. We will continue our mission of providing affordable spay/neuter procedures, vaccinations, disease testing and wellness exams for companion animals in our community, including feral cats, and now have the space to grow so that we can help even more animals in need.

Our new SPCA Animal Rescue Center welcomes the many staff, volunteers, community members and most importantly, the animals, who depend on us each and every day.
