As part of our "Dog Day Out" program, we ask that all participants follow a few simple guidelines to ensure the safety and enjoyment of both you and the dog:

1. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when not confined to your home. 2. Use only SPCA-approved collars and harnesses provided at the time of pickup. 3. Provide plenty of water and breaks through the day and avoid areas with heavy traffic or loud noises that may stress the dog. 4. Return the dog by the agreed-upon time to avoid disrupting their feeding and care schedule at the shelter. 5. Contact the shelter immediately if there are any emergencies or issues with the dog during the outing. 6. Dogs cannot interact with other animals or children during their outings.
