Please read below for more information about out our one-of-kind camps onsite at SPCA Westchester, located at 590 N. State Road in Briarcliff Manor.

Camp Critter (2nd-4th Grade) invites animal lovers to experience the magic of caring for furry four-legged friends. Each week, we discover the basics of animal caretaking, enjoy heartwarming encounters with adorable adoptables, engage in crafts, games, and more to promote compassion, empathy, and responsible pet ownership! 

Camp Hero (5th-6th Grade) invites creative kids to connect with furry friends and explore how they can help animals in need. Through pawsome problem-solving, heartwarming encounters, arts, crafts, games, and more, campers level-up their love to become true animal champions at Camp Hero! 

Jr. Vet Science Camp (6th-9th Grade) welcomes kids into the wonderful world of veterinary medicine with SPCA Westchester’s low-cost veterinary clinic. Campers have opportunities for hands-on learning, knowledge and skill development foundational to the pursuit of a career in this field. Explore topics like the veterinary exam, anatomy & physiology, zoonotic disease & common parasites, common diagnostics, surgical interventions, and more!

  1. How do I know if Camp is a good fit for my child?

SPCA Camps are most well suited to children who love learning about & exercising kindness toward animals. The camp environment can best be described as an interactive learning experience, most similar to an especially engaging classroom setting. Camp offers plenty of opportunities for fun and memorable times with friends, both two and four-legged!

  1. What makes Camp at SPCA Westchester special?

Long after camp ends, campers stay inspired to help animals in need. SPCA campers go on to practice compassion-in-action in so many fun and creative ways. They channel their inspiration into leading bake sales benefiting animals in need, becoming a foster offering temporary shelter for cats and dogs, choosing to volunteer their time right here at SPCA Westchester, and more!

  1. How do I add-on Day 5 if I’ve registered my child for 4-Day Camp?

  1. What if I need to cancel camp registration?

Please email Lisa.Fello@SPCAWestchester.org and review the Refund Policy below.

Refund Policy: A full refund, minus an administrative charge of $30, will be offered only in instances where greater than or equal to 120 days’ notice of cancellation, relative to the selected camp session’s start date, has been provided in writing via email. Instances where notice of cancellation amounts to less than 120 days’ time, relative to the selected camp session’s start date, will not be eligible for refund.
