Adopt a Senior Cat!

Senior cats are often overlooked by potential adopters who think that rescuing a senior animal means dealing with more health issues, more medical bills, and more stress on their time.

But in reality, adopting an older cat can be very rewarding! On Sundays throughout September all of our senior cats age 10+ will have their adoption fees waived. Visit the SPCA to meet our eligible cats or email kasey@spcawestchester.org for more information.

I’m Ike and I’m about ten years old! I love to say hello from my deluxe condo at the SPCA. I was abandoned by my previous owner and left alone in an apartment for days before being rescued. The nice people at the SPCA say that I’m “highly underrated” meaning they can’t believe I haven’t been adopted yet. I’m EXTREMELY playful but have a bad habit of swiping as a game, but I’m really a nice dude, I promise! I would be great with someone who will play with me and keep me active! My parents were moving, and they couldn’t take me with them, so they dropped me off here at the rescue center.
