We need you now more than ever
It’s been such an exciting year for the SPCA as we celebrate the opening of our new home and we have so much to be grateful for, thanks to you! And the best part? We finally have the space in our new Rescue Center to save more homeless animals, but that’s why we need your support now more than ever.
For every dollar donated this holiday season, you will help us rescue twice as many animals. Now through December 31st your gift will be doubled up to $25,000 thanks to our friends at Rock and a Soft Place Studio and will support dogs and cats who have no where else to turn.
That means more animals, like Lily (pictured at top) who was abandoned at a hunting cabin, will receive the best care and a second chance at the SPCA. If this sweet puppy had been found even a day later, she likely wouldn’t have survived.
And animals like Sheila, who we rescued from a local shelter unable to give her the care she so desperately needed. Sheila was born with bilateral radial agenesis, making it extremely difficult for her to walk.
Since she’s still so young, our veterinarian is using splints to keep her legs and paws straight. We hope this will help to realign them as she grows. If this is unsuccessful, she will undergo life-changing surgery, which is only possible with your support. Your kind gift enables us to rescue animals like Sheila, who require extensive medical care so they can live their best life.
