Working with an architectural firm we’ve designed a new 27,000 square foot animal care campus located on the same 3-acre property as our current shelter. Click the floor plan to make the image larger.

  • 77 indoor dog habitats for increased comfort
  • Outdoor day pens for dog’s enrichment & exercise
  • Space for 97 cats & kittens with luxury 4-story condos
  • 5 cage-free cattery areas to replicate home-like environments
  • 6 meet-and-greet rooms for the public to interact with dogs & cats, to promote bonding & adoption
  • Cat-of-the-Day with an outdoor patio to spotlight special cats
  • Dog-of-the-Day room to provide extra visibility for dogs
  • Kitten nursery
  • Special room for exotic animals
  • Increased holding and communal areas for Humane Law Enforcement animal seizures
  • Grooming room
  • Increased isolation areas to help pets heal faster
  • State-of-the-art veterinary hospital with:
    -Two exam rooms
    -Modern surgical suite
    -X-ray room for treating injured animals
    -Comfortable waiting room to make pets feel at ease
  • A large multi-purpose room to allow for indoor dog playgroups and training classes
  • Special space for meetings, workshops, education and training sessions
  • Classrooms for visiting school children participating in Humane Education presentations
  • Dedicated indoor space for the wildly popular Camp Critter children’s day camp
